The struggle for most women is trying to achieve a fit, strong, and healthy body.  The key is to focus on strength training and eating that reduces body fat and builds lean muscle.
Here are a few benefits of strength training:

1. Improved Body Composition: when you are working out, there needs to be a balance. Strength training creates this balance by utilizing some form of resistance (instead of only cardio) as part of the workout routine. This has been shown to reduce fat and increase lean muscle which will give your body the toned look you want!

2. Healthier Bones and Joints: research shows that strength training can promote bone development, reverse skeletal muscle aging factor, and reduce lower back pain which will increase your durability while exercising

3. Reduced Anxiety: several studies revealed that resistance training (such as lifting weight) can reduce stress and anxiety

4. Improved Body Image: strength training will definitely help you feel better about yourself as your body will feel and look fit and healthy with regular weight training. 

It is important to understand that there are certain factors to consider such as genetics, hormonal changes, eating habits, and dietary preferences when trying to achieve your body composition goals.
Also, eat your protein to gain more muscle mass and don’t be afraid to eat your carbs and fat when exercising regularly.
