Karrie’s Bacon Wrapped Goat Cheese Dates

Makes 4 Servings

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Pitted Dates
  • 6 slices Bacon (cut in half)
  • 2-4 ozs Goat Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Slice open dates, remove the pits, and stuff with 1/2 -1 teaspoon of goat cheese. Cut the bacon in half, so you have 12 pieces total. Wrap each date with a half slice of bacon and push a toothpick through it. Place the bacon wrapped dates on the parchment lined baking sheet.
  • Bake for 14-17 minutes, flipping 2-3 times until the bacon is evenly browned or until desired crispiness.
  • Remove from oven, drizzle with the balsamic vinegar (optional), allow to cool before eating and enjoy!
