This is a great 3-step recipe made with the three food group: lean protein, complex carbs and healthy fat.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Chickpea Fusilli or other Chickpea Pasta
- 1 lb Extra Lean Ground Turkey
- Sea Salt & Black Pepper (to taste)
- 1 cup Frozen Vegetable Mix
- 1/2 cup Beef Broth
- 1 Tablespoon of Tamari Sauce
Directions:
- Cook the pasta according to the package directions.
- Meanwhile, heat a pan over medium heat. Add the ground turkey and season with salt and pepper. Cook for seven to eight minutes or until browned, breaking it up as it cooks.
- Add the frozen vegetables, broth and Tamari sauce. Cook for three to four minutes or until the vegetables are fork-tender. Add the cooked pasta and toss to combine.
- Divide evenly into bowls or plates. Enjoy!
