My Super Green Detoxing, Immune Building Smoothie

I love adding Spirulina to my smoothie. It makes my smoothie super, vibrant green and it's loaded with nutrients that can have a powerful impact on your brain and body. It's also loaded with powerful antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops Vanilla Whey Protein Powder ( ~30 grams)
  • 16 oz unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup diced, frozen pineapple and banana
  • 2 tbsp milled flaxseeds
  • 2 tbsp avocado
  • 1 tsp spirulina
  • 1/2 lemon squeezed
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup ice, optional

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender, and pulse to desired consistency. 

  2. Pour and enjoy!
