Post Workout Smoothie

This is a great option for a post exercise recovery drink. Chocolate milk helps to restore muscle glycogen and rehydrates the body just as well as Gatorade, but has the added nutritional benefits of calcium, healthy fats and whey protein. And the beets also help you to boost your energy levels and stamina.

Ingredients

  • 2 scoops Vanilla Whey Protein Powder  ~20 grams
  • 1 ½ cup of unsweetened almond milk
  • ½ cup of low fat chocolate milk
  • 1 medium beet cooked
  • 1 tablespoons of freshly grated ginger
  • 1 cup of blueberries

Instructions

  1. Mix all ingredients in a blender, and pulse to desired consistency.
  2. Pour and enjoy!
